Senior Fire, Health and Safety ConsultantSoutheast England (field based)Permanent£50,000 to £55,000 per annum + £4,000 car allowance and benefitsShirley Parsons has partnered with a leading consultancy firm specializing in Fire, Health and Safety solutions across various sectors including residential, commercial, industrial, retail, transport, and defence. They are seeking a Senior Consultant to join their Fire, Health and Safety Team. This field-based role, reporting to the London office, involves leading projects, mentoring consultants, and ensuring client safety and compliance across the UK. The role is ideally suited for candidates residing in Southeast England, with regional and UK travel required.Responsibilities include:Conducting Fire, Health and Safety Risk Assessments across different sectors, focusing on residential environments.Providing expert advice and advocacy to clients to ensure legislative compliance and best practices.Leading client-specific projects, developing emergency plans, and acting as a competent person.Mentoring junior consultants and contributing to fire and safety strategy development.Candidate requirements:Proven consultancy experience in residential, commercial, industrial, retail, transport, and defence sectors.Deep knowledge of fire and safety legislation, including British Standards, Building Regulations, and CDM 2015.Membership of IFSM or IFE, with Fire Risk Assessment qualifications and a diploma-level HandS qualification (CMIOSH or working towards it), supported by a strong CPD record.Familiarity with BAFE SP205 certification process and technical standards, including Approved Documents M and K.
