BE Recruitment are currently looking for a skilled Production Wiring Operative to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Leicester (LE5), supporting the PowerProve industrial load bank production line.About the Role:As a Production Wiring Operative, you will be responsible for the wiring of control panels and sub-assemblies, working from general assembly drawings and wiring schematics. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality builds in compliance with internal standards and health and safety regulations. Hours and Pay:Monday - Thursday: 07:30 - 16:15Friday: 07:30 - 12:30Pay Rate: 14 - 15 P/H Key Responsibilities:Wiring control panels and sub-assemblies from wiring schematics and general assembly drawingsPerforming mechanical tasks such as drilling, tapping, and punchingWiring between components and fitting components with correct fixturesCarrying out basic electrical testing and inspectionCollaborating with design and manufacturing teams to resolve build or design issuesEnsuring compliance with company procedures and safety regulationsRequirements:Previous experience in mechanical assembly and panel wiringProven background in a manufacturing environmentAbility to read and interpret wiring diagramsHold a relevant electrical qualificationCompetency using hand tools, crimpers, and power toolsSelf-motivated and capable of working independently or as part of a teamGood communication and problem-solving ..... full job details .....
