The successful candidate will provide essential operational tax support, with an initial focus on VAT compliance and submissions. As the assignment progresses, there will be scope to contribute to a broader range of tax activities, including corporate tax, forecasting and international tax matters.This opportunity would suit a technically capable and hands-on tax professional who can quickly integrate into a business, take ownership of key deliverables and provide reliable support to a busy team.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, review and submit VAT returns accurately and within required deadlines.Manage day-to-day VAT compliance activities, ensuring relevant HMRC obligations are met.Provide practical support across a range of tax matters, including withholding tax and corporate tax.Assist with tax reserve forecasting and tax computation activities.Support international tax requirements as they arise.Maintain accurate tax records and supporting documentation.Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure tax activities are completed efficiently and effectively.Identify opportunities to improve tax processes, controls and ..... full job details .....
