The Key responsibilities of the Head Chef:*Leading a small kitchen team and managing daily operations*Creating varied, nutritious menus that cater to residents'' dietary needs*Ensuring all meals are prepared and presented to a high standard*Maintaining kitchen hygiene and equipment*Managing stock levels, ordering supplies and keeping within budget*Supporting training and development of kitchen staff*Managing staff rotas and providing cover for absences*Liaising with colleagues, residents, and suppliers to ensure smooth service

The ideal Head Chef would have/be:*Experience in a similar role, ideally within a care or healthcare environment*Knowledge of IDDSI Framework*Strong understanding of food hygiene standards and relevant regulations*Confident managing a team and prioritising tasks*Organised, reliable, and passionate about delivering quality food.

Hours of work:*40 hours per week*Alternate weekends
