We are looking for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join a growing team based in Waterloo.The preference is to appoint someone on a permanent basis, although the right contract candidate will also be considered. For contractors, the role will initially be offered on a 3-month basis, outside IR35, with a minimum requirement of three days per week in the Waterloo office.The role will suit an experienced civil engineer with a strong background in drainage design who is comfortable taking ownership of technical designs, Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategy reports, as well as managing approvals and liaising directly with statutory authorities.Key Responsibilities Lead and deliver civil engineering and drainage designs for development projects. Produce surface water and foul drainage designs and calculations. Prepare Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs) and Drainage Strategy reports. Develop and coordinate designs using AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Undertake drainage modelling using Causeway FLOW. Use SmartTools as part of the drainage and infrastructure design process. Manage technical submissions and approvals with statutory authorities.
