Quality Technician
to join their team where you you’ll be responsible for checking, analysing, and reporting on quality inspections to ensure products meet the highest standards before they leave the factory. You’ll work closely with suppliers, colleagues, and international offices to resolve issues quickly and prevent them from recurring.Duties include:Review and analyse PSI reports, ensuring actions are completed within 24 hoursUpdate the system with inspection results, product weights, and dimensionsCoordinate PSI bookings with factories and follow up to meet deadlinesIssue factory debit notes and ensure CAP (Corrective Action Plans) are completed on timeProduce and send quality reports with solutions to improve future productionAuthorise goods for shipment from a QC perspectiveLiaise with international teams and factories to resolve issuesSupport New Product Introduction (NPI) reviews with feedback on quality concernsProvide rework instructions to warehouses when neededPrepare weekly quality performance reports for the Head of Quality Control and ComplianceThe successful Quality Technician will have / be:Previous experience as a quality technician within a manufacturing facility.Able to keep up in a fast-paced FMCG environment.Strong attention to detail skills.Able to read and write reports.This role is being handled by Bradley Briggs, Manufacturing, Engineering and Technical Specialist at Pearson Whiffin Recruitment
