OverviewWorking Site Manager - Fast Track Refurbishment, Retail and Restaurant Fit Out. Main Contractor. Refurbishment / Interior Fit Out. Wakefield, Leeds. Freelance / Temporary Role. 6 weeks approx.

Responsibilities

Managing the project on site.

Managing the build program.

Some inductions if required.

Managing Health and Safety.

Working closely with all sub-contractors to ensure projects finish on time.

Liaising on all levels to ensure effective communication is always maintained.

Running the project on a day-to-day basis with the assistance of a visiting Contracts Manager; delivering the project from inception to completion.

Requirements / Qualifications

SMSTS or SSSTS.

CSCS Black or Gold Card.

Asbestos Awareness and First Aid certificates.

Hands-on, hands-on role; a joinery background would be beneficial.

Self-motivated, autonomous, able to drive subcontractors.

Previous experience managing fast track interior fit out or refurbishment sites within the leisure and hospitality sectors is beneficial.

Project Details

Project start: 11 September 2025.

Duration: minimum 6 weeks, with potential for a similar follow-on project in Sheffield city centre (6–8 weeks).

RemunerationDependent upon experience, up to £250 per day DOE.
