Candidates would need to have lived and worked in the UK for 5+ years and be eligible for BPSS security clearance. What the role of the Quality Inspector entails:Some of the main duties of the Quality Inspector will include:Responsible for mechanical inspection of all Company Products, using a wide range of hand measuring tools and other inspection equipment including the CMM. Nominated DQR for product release of specific customer productsCertifying Staff for release of Civil Aerospace productsResponsible for verification of supplier FAIRs.Responsible for compiling FAIRs to AS9102 for internal products.Responsible for co-ordinating mechanical and electrical calibration with internal customers.Responsible for calibration improvement plan.Responsible for developing GRIPs - Goods Inwards Inspection Plans and coordinating with the supplier.Produce accurate and detailed written NCRs on non-conforming product for either internal or external distribution.Using Microsoft Office to establish and maintain the supporting records for the company''s calibration system.Responsible for communicating with all internal departments either by written reports or verbally.Assist where relevant in customer site visit
