We''re working with a fast-paced, friendly IT solutions business to find an experienced 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join their close-knit team.This is a technical, varied role supporting SMEs across the UK and internationally on IT and telecoms solutions. If you''re someone who takes pride in a first-time fix, enjoys working across a diverse client base, and wants to keep developing your skills in a supportive environment - this is worth a look.The role is fully office-based with one client visit per month to a site in Horsham.What you''ll be doing: Providing technical support via phone and ticketing system across a diverse SME client base Leading small to medium projects from start to finish Implementing complex resolutions within SLA - zero-trust and least privilege at the forefront Monitoring, triaging and responding to security alerts using Microsoft Sentinel and the M365 Defender suite Supporting Cyber Essentials+ compliance - evidence collection, remediation tracking and controls implementation Managing patch compliance across endpoints and servers and driving remediation to agreed targets Supporting Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity planning including backup/restore testing and documentation Working with senior engineers to identify recurring incidents and implement long-term fixes Supporting change management aligned to ITIL best practiceTechnologies you''ll need experience with: Microsoft 365 - Admin, Security, Compliance, Exchange and GDAP Microsoft Sent
