Location: Corwen / Llangollen and Dee Valley Reporting to: Transport Co-Ordinator/ Operations Manager or senior Manager Responsible for: Safe transport, care and welfare of passengers; safe driving practices; vehicle safety and security Hours of Work: 35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year with flexibility of hours to meet the business needs. Monday to Friday: 09 30 with a 30-minute unpaid break each day. Salary / Rate of Pay: Scale 2.3; £13.62 per hour (35 hours per week; annual gross salary £24,788.40). Employer Pension Contribution: 3% employer pension contribution. Contract Type: Funding-dependent, fixed-term contract for 2 years from the date of appointment. Probationary Period: 3-month probationary period. Requests for annual leave during the probationary period will normally only be approved in exceptional circumstances and subject to operational requirements. Additional / Prerequisite Conditions: Full manual driving licence held for at least 2 years, with D1 entitlement essential for minibus driving. Previous experience in a customer-facing role. Satisfactory Enhanced DBS check, with eligibility for this level confirmed against the role duties.
