Maths Teacher

Location: Rochdale

Hours: Full time contract, Monday to Friday 8:15am to 3pm.Could become permanent for the right Maths Teacher.

Start Date: September 2025

Salary: -150 - -200 per day (Depending on Experience)

Are you a passionate and fully qualified Maths Teacher seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity? Our supportive secondary school in Rochdale are looking for a dedicated Maths Teacher to teach pupils up to KS4. This role is full-time Monday to Friday 8am to 3pm. The school are looking for someone who holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the Uk.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Teaching: Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to secondary school students, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
2. Planning and Preparation: Develop well-structured and creative lesson plans, tailored to the needs of the students and aligned with the curriculum.
3. Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, effectively managing student behavior and fostering a love for Maths.
4. Assessment: Implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
5. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the overall development of the Maths department and school community.
