Qualified Social Worker, Preparation for Adulthood Team, Barnsley Council Pay rate to £35 per hour Contract role Vitalis are recruiting for experienced Social Worker to work in a Preparation for Adulthood Team in Barnsley Council.We have an exciting opportunity for three experienced Social Workers to join the Preparation for Adulthood Team in Barnsley. The ideal candidates will have an excellent understanding of The Care Act 2014, The Children Act 1989, The Mental Capacity Act legislation as well as sound understanding in Human Rights. You will have strong social work values that lead your practice in helping young people to achieve the best outcomes possible. Alongside this you will play a significant role in working alongside a team of Social Care Practitioners to deliver outstanding assessment and support planning skills; that work across both Children''s and Adult''s services and legislation. You will also apply strengths-based interactions within direct work to develop confidence and skills to achieve positive and sustainable outcomes for the future.PFA Social Workers will have good knowledge of legislation relating to adult social care and Children''s social care and are able to implement this in their practice.
