We are seeking an experienced Estimator with a strong Mechanical and Electrical (MandE) background to support our small works division on a flexible, part-time basis.Role ResponsibilitiesPreparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for MandE small works projectsReviewing client specifications, drawings, and tender documentsProducing detailed material take-offs and labour costingsLiaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotationsSupporting pricing submissions within PFI contract frameworksAssisting with variations, cost planning, and value engineering where requiredMaintaining up-to-date pricing data and cost benchmarksRequirementsProven experience in estimating within MandE works (essential)Familiarity with PFI contracts, particularly in education and healthcare settingsStrong understanding of materials, labour, and supply chain pricingAbility to interpret technical drawings and specificationsGood commercial awareness and attention to detailProficient in estimating software and ExcelReliable and able to work independently within a small teamWorking Arrangement1-2 days per week (flexible)Office-based in Halesowen or work remotely Ongoing
