Family Law Solicitor – Location: Birmingham. Certain Advantage are seeking a Family Solicitor with experience in privately funded and legal aid matters to join a dynamic and client-focused Family Law team in Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a diverse caseload involving divorce, finances, Children Act matters, and advocacy, while contributing to the firm''s ongoing growth and client service excellence.Responsibilities

Handle a mixed caseload including privately funded family law matters: divorce, financial remedy, and Children Act proceedingsLegal Aid family work where applicableAdvocacy in family courts as requiredManage and develop a caseload of corporate and private clientsMaintain strong day-to-day client relationships, ensuring excellent communication and serviceKeep up to date with relevant family law legislation and practiceLiaise effectively with other team members and departmentsComplete legal documents, forms, and correspondence in a timely and accurate mannerActively participate in business development including seminars, workshops, and pitchesMeet agreed targets and service level agreements (SLAs)Deliver a service that is efficient, responsive, and client-focusedSalary: £36,000 – £47,000 DOEThe individual

We are looking for someone who is:A Qualified Solicitor (ideally 3+ years PQE) with strong family law experienceComfortable managing high and varied caseloads independentlyFamiliar with both private and publicly funded family law mattersConfident in advocacy and attending court hearingsProactive, organised, and self-motivated with the ability to use initiativeSkilled in client care, with a professional and empathetic approachCommercially aware and keen to contribute to firm growth and marketingA strong communicator and effective team playerProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Working with Certain Advantage
