Role Overview: We are looking for a knowledgeable, experienced and proactive Electrical Compliance officer to oversee electrical safety, inspection, and regulatory compliance across our boiler and renewable energy installations, including heat pumps, solar PV, battery storage, and hybrid systems. The successful candidate will ensure that all electrical work - whether part of a gas or low-carbon technology installation - is compliant with current regulations (e.g. BS 7671, NICEIC, MCS standards, Part P). You will play a key role in safeguarding quality, safety, and legal accountability across domestic projects. You will be a qualified Electrician by training and may have previously held roles with job titles such as Technical Manager, or Project Engineer or Electrical Project Manager or similar. Key Responsibilities: Ensure all electrical installations related to boilers, ASHPs, solar PV, EV chargers, and battery storage systems meet UK regulations and industry standards. Lead on electrical inspections, testing, and sign-offs, including issuing certification and ensuring appropriate use of MCS/NICEIC/NAPIT certifications. Maintain compliance with BS 7671 (18th Edition), IET Codes of Practice, Part P of the Building Regs, and relevant health and safety laws.
