Facilities EngineerLocation: LeatherheadSalary: Up to 45,000 per annum (DOE)Working Hours: Monday to Friday, full-timeJob OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and proactive Facilities Engineer to manage and maintain building services and site infrastructure at our Leatherhead facility. The successful candidate will ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of all facilities, supporting day-to-day business operations.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical and electrical building servicesMaintain HVAC systems, lighting, power distribution, water systems, and general facilities equipmentDiagnose faults and complete repairs in a timely and safe mannerManage and supervise external contractors and service providersEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations and statutory requirementsConduct routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenanceMaintain accurate maintenance records and documentationSupport site projects, upgrades, and improvements as requiredRespond to facilities-related issues and emergencies during working hoursSkills and ExperienceProven experience in a Facilities Engineer or similar maintenance roleStrong mechanical and/or electrical backgroundKnowledge of building services and facilities systemsUnderstanding of health and safety and compliance standardsAbility to work independently and manage priorities effectivelyGood communication and problem-solving skillsQualifications (Desirable)Relevant engineer
