We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming Primary School in Tower Hamlets seeking a reliable, proactive, and hands-on professional to join their facilities team on a temporary to permanent basis.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous school premises experience who takes pride in maintaining a safe, secure, and well-presented learning environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOpening and closing the school site and ensuring site security.Carrying out general maintenance, repairs, and basic DIY tasks.Managing contractors and overseeing works on site.Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.Conducting regular site inspections and risk assessments.Monitoring and maintaining building systems and facilities.Supporting with cleaning, waste management, and site presentation.Setting up rooms and facilities for school events and activities.Maintaining records relating to premises, maintenance, and compliance.Essential RequirementsEnhanced DBS Certificate (essential).Previous experience working within a school environment.Strong understanding of COSHH regulations, Health and Safety, and site compliance requirements.Knowledge of safeguarding procedures within educational settings.Experience carrying out general building maintenance and premises management duties.Ability to work ..... full job details .....
