Our client, a well-established multi-franchise-approved car dealer group operating since 1994, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Service Manager to join their dealership in Gloucester. Duties:

• Lead and motivate a team of 4 Vehicle Technicians, 2 Service Advisors, and 2 Apprentices to deliver high-quality customer service as the Service Manager
• Oversee daily service operations, maximising workshop activity and labour sales
• Ensure high standards of customer satisfaction and compliance with company policies
• Support operational efficiency through effective resource management
• Maintain strong communication with the Group Service Director
• Manage workshop workflow, resource allocation, and technical compliance
• Support staff development through coaching and training initiatives
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Service or Aftersales Manager within a franchise-approved car dealership
• Supervisory or assistant management experience within a franchise dealership considered
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• IT literate with proficiency in relevant dealership management systems
• UK driving licence with minimal points
• Located within reasonable commuting distance of Gloucester
• Ability to maintain high standards of customer service and operational efficiency
