We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team and we are needing the candidate to start as soon as possible We are a family owned service station located at Rainham in Kent. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and be proficient in the use of both power and hand tools. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. Duties Perform repairs and maintenance for both cars and vans on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other mechanical components. Utilise diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot problems effectively which includes Injectors, DPF EGR and AD Blue and being able to accurately fix the problems effectively MOT Class 4 Licence preferred but not essential. Tyre Repair and Replacements Air Conditioning and Regas Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with safety regulations and company policies. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance service delivery. Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies related to mechanical systems. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems.
