CTRG: Mansfield Hub are working in partnership with a leader distributor of rugs and soft furnishings to recruit for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis. This role is an immediate start and we are ideally seeking candidates with previous warehouse experience, who can start immediately and who are looking for a long-term assignment with the view to being taken on permanently after 12 weeks.

Main Duties:

• Order picking and palletising
• Loading and unloading of lorries and decanting of stock into the warehouse (labouring)
• Use of PPTs to move stock safely around the warehouse
• Handballing and devanning

Please be aware that as this role is involved in the devanning of large rugs and carpets, candidates will be required to be physically fit and capable of manual handling duties. The work is very physical with the need for repetitive stock handling of products up to 25kg.

Hours of Work:

• Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm

Rate of Pay:

-12.50 per hour, paid weekly in arrears, with a pay increase following successful sign off of probationary period.

This role is an immediate start. Due to limited public transport in the area, we are ideally seeking candidates with their own transport for work.
