The successful candidate will work closely with pupils who require additional support, helping them to access learning, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential.Your new role As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will: Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of SEND needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs. Work on a one-to-one basis and with small groups of pupils. Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive learning activities. Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and support strategies. Encourage positive behaviour and promote pupil independence. Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, staff, and external agencies where appropriate. Contribute to a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
