Your new company Hays are currently recruiting for an experienced Payroll Specialist to support an organisation on an urgent interim basis. This is an initial 8-week assignment, with the possibility of extension, and would suit someone who is immediately available or available at short notice. The successful candidate must have previous experience working within either a payroll bureau or an outsourced payroll environment. The organisation uses Cintra as its fully outsourced payroll provider, so experience in a similar outsourced model would be highly advantageous.Your new role The main duties for the role will include Setting up new starters accurately, including processing new starter forms and checking employee information. Gathering and consolidating employee hours to support accurate payroll processing. Processing leavers, including final payments, accurately and on time. Updating employee records for job changes and ensuring pay adjustments are processed correctly.Administering statements of payment to employees in a timely manner. Responding to payroll queries professionally and accurately.Producing reports and carrying out data analysis to support monthly payroll sign-off.
