£45,000 – £55,000 Basic (DOE)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8:00am – 5:30pm)

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Estimator / Vehicle Damage Assessor to join a busy and well-established bodyshop in the Basildon area.

This is a great opportunity to join a high-performing team with strong earning potential and a consistent Monday to Friday working pattern.

The Role

As an Estimator / VDA, you’ll be responsible for accurately assessing vehicle damage and managing the repair process from estimate through to completion.

• Producing accurate repair estimates using industry systems
• Liaising with insurance companies, customers and third parties
• Managing claims and ensuring all information is correctly recorded
• Supporting the workshop to ensure efficient repair processes
• Delivering excellent customer service throughout the repair journey
• Maintaining a safe and organised working environment

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as an Estimator / VDA within the motor trade
• Experience working within a bodyshop environment
• Audatex experience desirable
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Full UK Driving Licence

Recruitment Process

• Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a trial of 3 estimates
• Candidates must be comfortable completing this stage to be considered
