Bacteriology Departmental Quality Manager

Grade: HSO Closing date: 11:55 pm Thursday 26th June 2025 An exciting opportunity has arisen at the Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA) Weybridge Headquarters for the right individual to deliver a key role in quality management within the Bacteriology Department. Your work will underpin the delivery of a wide range of front-line diagnostic testing, surveillance, research and national/international Reference Laboratory functions. We are looking for individuals with a good grounding in practical laboratory work who will be responsible for ensuring that the Department meets, maintains, and seeks to continually improve, and complies with internal and external quality standards. Candidates should ideally have previous experience in managing quality in a regulated or accredited laboratory and have experience of leading, conducting and reporting on audits.
