Year 6 Teacher Role

• Full-time Year 6 class teacher position starting October 2025
• Teach the full KS2 curriculum, preparing pupils for SATs and a smooth transition to secondary school
• Plan engaging and challenging lessons with the support of a collaborative year group team
• Use assessment effectively to track, support, and celebrate pupil progress
• Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families
• Contribute to wider school life, including clubs, trips, and enrichment activities

Year 6 Teacher Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2 (preferably Year 6)
• Strong knowledge of the Year 6 curriculum and assessment requirements
• Excellent classroom management, organisation, and communication skills
• A reflective and resilient practitioner with a commitment to ongoing professional development
