Rugby – Near Hillmorton/Houlton (remote location – own transport essential)

Mon-Fri 09:00-17:30

£26,600+ (negotiable DOE)

We are currently hiring for a Warehouse/Stores Operative to work for a unique, interesting business in the outskirts of Rugby.

This is a very remote site therefore we are looking for an individual with their own transport. This role would also include driving a 3.5 luton van.

This role would appeal to individuals who enjoy working in small, creative collaborative team.  Please note this is not a pristine warehouse environment, this role is working within a workshop/storage facility.

Duties will include:

• Delivering/collecting fragile, handmade goods to different locations across the UK
• Stock counting and updating inventory data
• Quality checking and packing products
• Booking deliveries with couriers
• Unloading raw material deliveries (manual handling of wood products)
• Operating the Counterbalance once inhouse assessed/trained.

What do I need to be considered?

Warehouse experience is not essential for this role, training will be provided however the below criteria is essential:

• Full UK driver’s license (Age 25+ for insurance)
• Own reliable transport due to site location
• Friendly, confident team player
• Fantastic communication skills – you may be speaking with suppliers/customers at times and may have to describe products.
• IT literate
• Happy with consistent manual handling of aprox 15kg
