Position: Area Sales Manager
Sector: HVACR Components & Systems
Location: Central Region
Package: -45,000 - -50,000 base (dependant on experience) + bonus potential up to 30%, company vehicle, and benefits
Our client is a well-recognised distributor of high-quality components to the HVACR, refrigeration, air conditioning, and process heating sectors. With an excellent reputation for service, technical know-how, and reliability, they are expanding their sales team.
The Role:
As part of their ongoing growth strategy, they are recruiting an Area Sales Manager to strengthen customer relationships and expand market share within a defined territory. This is a key opportunity to join a stable, respected business while building a rewarding long-term sales career.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement structured business plans to reach and exceed sales targets in your region
- Build strong relationships with OEMs, contractors, and key accounts, ensuring long-term partnerships
- Seek out and secure new business opportunities while raising product awareness within industrial and HVAC markets
- Provide customers with expert technical support and tailored component solutions for projects and procurement
- Track performance against objectives, supplying regular updates and forecasts to management
- Work closely with internal technical and product teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project delivery
Candidate Profile:
- Previous experience in area sales, account management, or technical sales, ideally within HVACR, engineering, or distribution
- Commercially astute with strong negotiation and problem-solving ability
- Self-driven and proactive, able to work independently while adding value to a wider team
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Willing to travel frequently across the territory with a valid driving licence
