Responsibilities

Managing a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors, building strong relationships and becoming their trusted advisor

Reviewing and overseeing the preparation of statutory accounts, management accounts, VAT returns and corporation tax

Leading and developing a small team of juniors and seniors, offering support, training and guidance

Getting involved in process improvement, workflow planning and supporting the partners in the day-to-day running of the team

Handling more complex queries and being the go-to for clients when they need clear, commercially-minded advice

Qualifications

ACA or ACCA qualified with strong post-qualification experience in practice. It is essential that you have been managing a portfolio of ltd companies with turnovers over £1 million as a minimum

A confident manager of both clients and team members

Someone who''s proactive, organised and comfortable juggling a few things at once

A natural relationship builder who enjoys working with owner-managed businesses

Comfortable with cloud-based systems like Xero, QuickBooks and associated apps
