Chase Taylor Recruitment are working on behalf of an established and reputable business within the fenestration industry to recruit an experienced Commercial Surveyor to join their growing team in Birmingham.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded Surveyor with experience in the window, door and glazing industry to join a well-established business, working on a range of commercial projects.

The Role

As Commercial Surveyor, you will be responsible for surveying commercial projects, ensuring all measurements, specifications and site requirements are accurately recorded and communicated to the relevant departments.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out site surveys for commercial window and door projects.
• Taking accurate measurements and producing detailed survey reports.
• Assessing site conditions and identifying potential installation challenges.
• Liaising with customers, contractors, project managers and internal teams.
• Reviewing technical drawings and project specifications.
• Ensuring all survey information is accurate and meets project requirements.
• Identifying and resolving technical or site-related issues.
• Supporting projects through to installation.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in a Commercial Surveyor or similar surveying position.
• Background within the window, door, glazing or wider fenestration industry.
• Good knowledge of uPVC and aluminium window and door systems.
• Experience surveying commercial projects.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Confident communicating with customers, contractors and internal teams.
• Full UK driving licence.
