Senior Children''s Residential Support Worker / Deputy Manager Salary: £26,832-£32,656 per year, plus a £7,200 annual sleep-in allowance MD2 Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a client for a Senior Children''s Residential Support Worker / Deputy Manager. This role would suit someone with experience in a children''s residential home who enjoys supporting young people and is ready to take on more leadership responsibility. You''ll work alongside the management team to provide a safe, supportive and consistent home for young people. You''ll also guide colleagues on shift and help maintain high standards of care. What you''ll be doing Building positive, trusting relationships with young people and supporting their individual needs. Leading shifts and providing guidance to other members of the team. Supporting care planning, record keeping and communication with relevant professionals. Helping to maintain a safe environment and responding appropriately to safeguarding concerns. Supporting the day-to-day running of the home, including sleep-in duties. What we''re looking for Experience working in a children''s residential care setting. The confidence to lead a shift and support colleagues. A sound understanding of safeguarding and a calm, child-centred approach. A full UK driving licence and access to a car.
