Senior Support Workers Required for Children''s Home in Basildon Essex SS14 Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people with emotional and behavioural disabilities ?We are currently recruiting Senior Residential Support Workers to join our dedicated team on the edge of Basildon ( on a bus route) Our new home supports 6 to 18 year olds with EBD and challenging behaviours( Ofsted Regulated)The new team will offer huge support and you will be encouraged to develop and progress. Senior Suppoer Worker Duties include • Supporting and managing the staff team to meet the needs of the young person• Planning each shift and ensuring resources are allocated appropriately• Working with external professionals to deliver positive outcomes• Providing supervision and support to staff in line with Quality Standards• Supporting the young person to engage in education• Ensuring their health needs are met• Providing advice, support and guidance• Managing complex behaviours and crisis intervention• Administering and recording medication• Maintaining daily records and administrative work• Contributing to the care planning process• Liaising with external stakeholders and our multidisciplinary team• Attending mandatory training• Engaging in team meetings• Maintaining the home (laundry, cleaning, shopping, cooking, etc.) Senior Support Worker Requirements Please note applicants MUST meet the following requirements; Able to work Full timeA full UK driving license ( p
