Head of Primary and Community Care - Clinical Medical role at St Mary’s University, Twickenham.Responsibilities

Lead ongoing development, delivery and evaluation of Primary and Community Care within the MBBS programme, reporting to the Director of Undergraduate Medicine.Develop a strategy to promote, maintain and expand undergraduate primary care education, including business planning, financial and objective setting.Contribute to sourcing external funds for educational innovation and evaluation projects through proposals and bid writing.Contribute to the School of Medicine achieving academic objectives through teaching, research, and income generating activities.Work with the Head of Partnerships and External Engagement to ensure sustainable recruitment and quality assurance of Community tutors.Collaborate with the Head of Professional Practice and Development to develop and deliver Community teacher training courses.Be the lead contact for external GP tutor GMC issues or student disciplinary issues relating to community placements.Application and Requirements
