Working as part of the wider speciality leadership team, the key requirements of the job will be to monitor and support the delivery of key service areas working aligned to service targets. To provide administration support to senior management, clinical leads and medical secretary team. Duties and responsibilities Direct administration support and diary management for Paediatricians/Resident Doctors including scheduling appointments, dealing with patient queries and general administration Transcription/Typing of medical reports and patient correspondence with audio or voice digital dictation typing using accurate medical terminology with excellent grammar Prioritisation of workload to meet deadlines and flow of correspondence as necessary including the timely turnaround of outpatient letters, reports, referrals, clinic tests / results etc Ensure patients medical records are kept up to date (physical and electronic) and available when required and ensure location of notes is accurately recorded To manage all bookings (new and review) in line with 4-week cancellation ..... full job details .....
