Payroll and Finance Specialist 18-20 per hour2-3 Month Temporary Role Are you an aspiring payroll and finance professional looking to provide additional support to the wider finance team whilst they undergo a project? Job OverviewYou will be a key part of the finance team assisting with the processing an in-house company payroll as well as dealing with various finance administrative duties. Day to Day Responsibilities:Processing an in-house monthly payroll for approximately 100 employees from start to finish.Dealing with various payroll queriesInputting starters/leavers, holiday pay etcComplete the reconciliation of the various group bank accounts in a timely manner throughout the monthProcess BACS payments ensuring correct allocation of funds and accurate recording in both the underwriting and accounting systems Essential Skills and Competencies:Experience working on in house UK payrollsHigh level of computer literacy (MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)High level of organisational ability; ability to work to tight deadlines and targetsGood communication and customer service skills Desirable Skills and Competencies:Experience working in accountancy and dealing with paryoll reconcilaitionsExperience using multiple payroll platformsA fundamental understanding of UK payroll legislationExperience with excel and spreadsheets 44452MTINDTEMP
