About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a passionate and committed SEND Teacher to work across a range of schools in Chelmsford. This opportunity is offered through a well-established education recruitment agency, providing you with access to both mainstream and specialist settings.

You will play a key role in supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, delivering tailored learning and helping students reach their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons to meet individual needs

• Support pupils with a range of SEND, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and moderate learning difficulties

• Create a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment

• Work closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals

• Monitor, assess, and report on student progress

• Contribute to and implement EHCPs and personalised learning plans

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Experience working with SEND pupils in a school or specialist provision

• Strong behaviour management and adaptability

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
