This will mean you''ll need to share your own knowledge to help others, including setting up new users and managing backups, security and passwords.Principle Accountabilities: Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, connection, printer and software issues. Check daily backup''s. Update network applications as required. Troubleshoot and resolve all problems encountered with hardware and software. Escalate requests to the appropriate party, as needed. Replace or repair defective parts and equipment. Ensuring antivirus software is installed and up to date on all machines. Perform routine server monitoring and performance benchmarking. Monitor and remove viruses, spyware, and other non-authorised software. Document procedures where appropriate. Maintain disaster recovery documentation. Complete ad-hoc projects as requested.
