Working: This role offers some hybrid working and flexible working opportunitiesThe Senior Manufacturing Engineer will be working collaboratively with Engineering, Production and other Project Team members, to review new product designs, advise on Design for Manufacture principles and support Production to meet their daily targets. The Senior Manufacturing Engineer role focuses on introducing new products into manufacturing by ensuring designs are standardised, manufacturable, and efficient. It involves developing production plans, designing layouts and tooling, supporting prototype builds, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. The position also supports daily production to achieve quality, cost, and delivery targets while maintaining safety and operational excellence.Key Responsibilities and Duties Ensure the designs released to production are standardised, manufacturable and testable. This will involve attending Project Meetings, Design Reviews and DFM Reviews. Support prototype builds to highlight and resolve problems prior to full scale production. Submit Manufacturing plans, detailing layouts, process maps, cycle times, resourcing levels, tooling, capital equipment, facility upgrades and workstation setup. Lead the New Product Introduction Phase of the Design Process, ensuring that product quality, project timescales, cost targets, configuration and traceabilit
