We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Workington and Whitehaven. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in their own home settings. This position involves assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort and safety, and promoting their overall well-being. The Support Worker will work closely with healthcare professionals to deliver tailored care plans, particularly for those with dementia or requiring medication administration. We can offer a range of hours to suit your requirements, from bank contracts - you pick the hours you want to work, part time (16 or 24 hours) or full time (35 hours plus). Responsibilities Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Assist clients with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met. Support individuals in daily living activities, promoting independence where possible. Perform heavy lifting as required to assist clients with mobility or transfers. Administer medication according to prescribed guidelines and maintain accurate records. Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship to enhance their quality of life.
