We’re looking for an experienced

Senior Java Engineer

to join our cloud engineering consultancy.Location:

London (Hybrid)In this role you will be playing a key role in delivering high-performance backend services in a fast-moving, cloud-native environment — where releasing

multiple times per day

is the norm. This is a hands-on engineering role with the opportunity to work on cutting-edge systems from day one.What You’ll Be Doing

Build scalable and secure microservices using

Java 21 + Spring BootCollaborate with in-house engineers to

augment and accelerate

platform deliveryDeploy and monitor services in

AWS

using KubernetesWork in a

high-frequency release environment

— deploying multiple times per dayUse

Grafana (or similar)

for observability and maintain production-grade reliability5+ years of Java engineering experience (Java 11+; ideally Java 21)Strong background with

Spring Boot , microservices, and cloud-native designHands-on with

Docker, Kubernetes ,

AWS , and containerised deploymentsCI/CD pipeline experience with GitHub or similar toolsExposure to high-velocity teams with frequent releasesExcellent collaboration and communication skills in a mixed consultancy/client setupRequirements

Java (with experience with another language such as Golang, Kotlin, Python etc)Spring BootGrafana, GitHubSeniority level
