Commercial Communications Specialist

to support high-impact, B2B communications across Bauer’s European audio markets. Working within the European Audio Comms team and closely with the Commercial Marketing team, you’ll help drive consistent, engaging messaging that promotes Bauer’s commercial offering, brand portfolio, and advertising capabilities. This role is ideal for someone with experience at a media organisation or agency, who has a solid understanding of the commercial b2b media and advertising landscape.This is a hands-on, manager-level role for someone with excellent writing, project coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills. You’ll lead content creation, media relations, and campaign execution, supporting both internal and external communication efforts.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver integrated commercial comms campaigns across multiple markets, with a focus on media B2B messagingCreate content across channels: press releases, thought leadership, social copy, presentations, briefingsSupport events, announcements, and brand activations at industry eventsMaintain strong trade media relationships to enhance visibility and secure coverageCollaborate across marketing, insight, and content teams to amplify white papers, case studies, and commercial insightAct as the go-to comms contact for commercial projects across Bauer’s nine audio marketsManage awards entries, campaign timelines, approvals, and asset deliveryTrack and report on comms performance using defined KPIsAssist with reactive comms and issue management when neededContribute to wider strategy and support team operations and live eventsWhat You’ll BringExperience in comms within a fast-paced or complex environment — ideally media, digital, or creative industriesStrong B2B or trade comms experience within the media industryExcellent writing, editing, and storytelling skillsSolid project coordination and stakeholder management abilitiesStrong digital proficiency (Microsoft 365; experience with Canva, CMS, or SharePoint is a bonus)Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independentlyCollaborative mindset, able to work across cultures and marketsCommercial acumen or knowledge of advertising/branded content is a plusBonus Points ForPassion for radio/audioExperience in large, cross-market organisationsUnderstanding of commercial marketingCLOSING DATE: 28th September 2025We are actively recruiting for this position, so the job advert may close earlier than expected.About Bauer Media GroupWe are a media business focused on creating content that matters to millions of people across Europe.
