Your new role Future Years Financial Management DP Accountant:Main duties:To support the G7A in the newly established team looking after future years'' budgeting to include spending review and 5-year sustainability plansLiaising with business areas to develop future year budget spending plans and associated narrativeDevelop a model to forecast costs with baseline and bids by record number and cost centreReview and challenge of bidsAssist in the production of 3 and 5-year plans for consideration by Ministers, in line with DoF guidelines and timetables.Development of reporting tools and mechanisms to track and monitor progress against plansInput to briefings and committee requests colllation of data for the 5-year sustainability plansInformation management and machinery of government - FOI, Assembly Questions, Press Queries etc.What you''ll need to succeed Qualified accountant with two years post-qualification experience gained within the last 5 years in a finance/bu
