Our partner schools include mainstream primaries and secondaries, specialist settings and academy trusts across the city. They''re looking for people who can step in confidently, pick things up quickly and make a positive impact. You''ll be joining schools with supportive leadership teams, established SEND departments and a strong focus on making sure every pupil gets the right support. Your new role As an interim SENCo with Hays, you''ll play an important part in maintaining and developing SEND provision. Depending on the school, your responsibilities may include: Overseeing and coordinating SEND provisionLeading on EHCP processes, reviews and statutory requirementsSupporting teachers with differentiation, interventions and pupil progressManaging and developing support staffWorking with external agencies, families and Coventry Local Authority teamsEnsuring compliance with the SEND Code of PracticeOffering strategic support to SLT during periods of change or staffing gaps Roles vary from short-term cover to longer interim placements, with both full-time and part-time options available across Coventry.
