We are looking for an Accounts and Audit Assistant to join our Client in their expanding and well-regarded Accountancy Practice.What You''ll Be Doing:• Assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts for a varied portfolio of clients• Supporting audit assignments from planning through to completion• Preparing working papers and maintaining accurate client records• Assisting with corporation tax computations and related compliance work• Liaising with clients to obtain information and resolve queries• Working closely with senior team members to deliver high-quality client service• Ensuring assignments are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines• Supporting the wider accounts and audit team with ad-hoc projects as requiredWhat We''re Looking For:• Previous experience working within a UK accountancy practice• Exposure to accounts preparation and/or audit assignments• AAT qualified, ACA/ACCA part-qualified, or studying towards a professional qualification• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting• Good communication and interpersonal skills• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities• Proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamBenefits on Offer:• Flexible hybrid working arrangements• Study support for professional qualifications• Ongoing training and career development opportunities• Competitive salary and benefits package• Friendly and ..... full job details .....
