Backend Engineer UK Fintech | £90k | London The Role We''re representing a UK fintech whose technology is used by businesses across the payments and financial-services space. They''re now looking to add a Backend Engineer to a growing engineering function. This is an opportunity to join a team where Back End engineering is central to the product, you''ll be working on systems that need to be fast, resilient, secure and capable of handling increasingly sophisticated workloads. The environment is particularly suited to an engineer who enjoys modern cloud engineering rather than traditional application development. We''re looking for roughly 6+ years of relevant commercial experience, but depth of experience matters more than a particular number. You could come from fintech, SaaS, payments, platforms or another technically demanding environment. This role would suit someone who has moved beyond simply being a developer who can build features.
