We are currently recruiting Aviation Security Officers to work at Stansted Airport and surrounding areas. Part time permanent position - 8 hours per week ( 2 x 4 hours shift) £12.34 per hourCTC and DBS checks required for all potential candidates. Your Time at WorkPresenting at all times, a smart, alert, visible and commanding security presence at the premises of our clients, to perform aviation security tasks such as: - Bag and body searches, - Plane guarding - Aircraft searches in accordance with DfT/CAA regulations - Local operating procedures. You will also be required to use and maintain company/customer equipment as and when supplied. Our Perfect WorkerTo be considered for employment with G4S in this role you must be able to meet the following minimum requirements: - Unrestricted right to work full time in the UK for a minimum period of 12 months. - Must be a UK resident for the last 3 years. - Be fluent in spoken and written English. - Good customer service/communicating skills. - Must be able to pass the CRC check. - Must be able to pass all required training. - Have a five year checkable employment history or be able to produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self- employment or full and part time education during that period. - Physical requirements include being able to be on their feet for extended periods of time, plus being able to work in outdoor weather environments.
