We are seeking a

Head of Automation Development

to lead the automation development teams across Fixed, Mobile, and B2B networks. This is a strategic leadership role, responsible for scaling and developing a team of over 30 developers (internal and external), ensuring delivery excellence, code quality, and alignment with business objectives.Shifts:

Monday – Friday (37.5 hours per week)Key Responsibilities

Build, lead, and develop multiple development squads across internal and external resourcesEvaluate backlog use cases, estimate MVPs, and size efforts to ensure optimal team resourcingCollaborate with Solution Architects to design strategic and tactical automation solutionsProduce low-level designs and workflows when requiredConduct and approve code reviews prior to mergesEngage with internal and external stakeholders, including vendorsEstablish and uphold coding standards, documentation practices, and development methodologiesPromote end-to-end automation across Plan, Provide, and Assure functionsDefine development and architectural targetsShape and size tickets, and allocate work across squadsThe must haves

Extensive experience in senior development roles, ideally within telecommunications or large-scale IT environmentsProven background in network or IT transformation initiativesDemonstrated success in delivering high-quality code and leading development teamsTechnical Skills

Netconf, APIs, XML, JSON, Jinja2, Python, JavaScriptCisco NSO, Ansible, Netmiko, DockerWorkflow automation tools: Itential IAP, Appian, ResolveTelecom network knowledge and standards: TMF, TOSCA, MEFService modelling using YANG/TOSCACI/CD/CT tools: GitLab, Robot Framework, Selenium, Cucumber, Veracode, SonarQubeWhat’s in it for you?
