JOB TITLE: Employment Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED: 8+ years' PQE
LOCATION: London / Remote
SALARY: £70,000 - £80,000 DOE pro rata

THE ROLE:
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Employment Solicitor to join a busy and growing team, working closely with a leading Employment Partner and advising a diverse client base including senior executives and commercial clients across sectors such as transport, marketing and technology. The role will have a strong contentious focus, with particular emphasis on discrimination and equality matters. You will manage Employment Tribunal claims from initial instruction through to conclusion, including drafting claims and responses, preparing witness statements, managing disclosure and advising clients directly. You will also have the opportunity to attend client meetings, contribute to business development activity and support colleagues within the wider employment team. Advocacy experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are welcomed from Employment Solicitors with 8+ years' PQE gained within a reputable regional or London firm, with a strong background in contentious employment law. You will have experience managing Employment Tribunal matters and be confident handling your own caseload with a high degree of autonomy. Excellent communication skills and a commercially focused approach are essential, together with the confidence to build strong client relationships and contribute to business development activity. You should be comfortable working independently, while also being a supportive team player who can work effectively within a remote environment. A keen eye for detail and the ability to manage deadlines effectively are also important.
