Head of Digital Transformation – Genesis Technology Services Limited, Peterborough. This is a full-time, on-site role for a senior technology leader responsible for architecting and executing the strategic technology roadmap to scale software solutions and IT services into a growth engine.About the Role

We are seeking a visionary, hands-on Head of Digital Transformation to architect and execute our strategic technology roadmap. As part of the executive leadership team, this role will be instrumental in scaling the software solutions and IT services business unit into a cutting-edge, commercially vibrant growth engine. The role requires a technology evangelist and business builder with deep expertise in software development, platform architecture, team leadership, and techno-commercial execution. You will lead cross-functional teams, define robust go-to-market strategies, and foster innovation through advanced digital transformation, AI/BI integration, and agile delivery models.Key Responsibilities

Define and drive the enterprise-wide technology strategy aligned with commercial and business objectives across IT Services and Software business units.Architect scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native software solutions powered by AI, ML, and BI analytics.Build and scale high-performing agile engineering teams, development centers, and innovation hubs.Lead techno-commercial pursuits, developing PandL-focused product roadmaps, solution architecture, RFP/RFI responses, and strategic client engagements.Champion digital transformation initiatives leveraging automation, platform engineering, and intelligent service integration.Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Delivery, and Customer Success teams to unlock growth opportunities across global markets.Evaluate, adopt, and integrate emerging technologies such as Generative AI, LLMs, predictive analytics, and IoT into core offerings.Ensure enterprise-level security, compliance, and quality standards in technology implementations and operations.Required Qualification And Experience

Proven track record (10+ years) in a senior technology leadership role, ideally in IT Services, Telecom, or Software Product environments.Strong experience in scaling technology functions from the ground up: team building, architecture design, and solution deployment.Deep understanding of enterprise software architecture, full-stack development, DevOps, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and SaaS models.Demonstrable success in managing complex, multi-million-pound technology programs across geographies.Commercial acumen and techno-strategic mindset with experience in business development and revenue growth.Advanced expertise in integrating AI/ML, BI dashboards, automation tools, and APIs into legacy and greenfield systems.Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.Prior experience in the telecom domain or IT infrastructure services is highly desirable.Desirable Traits
