Finishing Operative - Automotive ComponentsLocation: PickeringPay Rate: 15.00 per hourContract: 3 months temporary, with potential for extensionHours: Day shifts, starting at 8:00am. 8-hour and 12-hour shifts available.The RoleWe are currently recruiting for a Finishing Operative to join our client in Pickering, working on plastic automotive components.This is a hands-on role involving the preparation, sanding, polishing and finishing of components to ensure they meet the required quality standards.We are keen to hear from candidates with experience in polishing, sanding, buffing, surface preparation or similar finishing work. Experience within automotive manufacturing would be beneficial, but candidates with transferable skills from other manufacturing or production environments are encouraged to apply.Key ResponsibilitiesSand, polish and finish plastic automotive components to a high standard.Inspect parts for scratches, marks, blemishes and other imperfections.Use hand tools, power tools and finishing equipment to achieve the required finish.Prepare components for painting, coating, assembly or final delivery.Carry out visual quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.Identify and report damaged or faulty components.Follow production instructions and health and safety procedures.Keep the work area clean, tidy and organised.Support the wider production team to meet quality and productivity targets.Skills and ExperienceEssential:Previous experience in polishing, ..... full job details .....
