One of our lovely schools in Sutton are looking for an experienced 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to become a part of their team! We are seeking a passionate and resilient Teaching Assistant with experience supporting SEN pupils on a 1:1 basis. The ideal candidate will be confident in managing challenging behaviour, able to build strong and trusting relationships, and demonstrate patience and persistence in their approach. You will work collaboratively with staff and parents to ensure each child receives consistent, tailored support that enables them to thrive. As a SEN Teaching Assistant you will be: Supporting primary age students with SEN Provide a stable, caring and supportive learning environment Aid the development of the child''s social and emotional well-being Assist in developing and implementing interventions to encourage learning The School have said they would be able to facilitate a handover and induction into this role It is extremely important for the applicant to be able to commit to this role longer term as the needs of the children means changing staff can be upsetting You must have substantial SEN experience for this role due to the nature and number of individual needs to be catered for Application requirements of a SE
